Turf Paradise is a Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racetrack in the North Mountain section of Phoenix, Arizona. The main dirt track is one mile and the turf course is seven-furlong in length with a 1 1/8 mile chute.

Turf Paradise History
Turf Paradise opened its doors January 7, 1956, making Valley history as the first organized professional sports franchise in Arizona.
In 2003, a 30'x60' state-of-the-art equine pool was built for the training & therapy of the 2,200 horses which board at Turf Paradise during the season. The Clubhouse, Turf Club, and the main & turf track has received a multi-million dollar renovation as well.
Turf Paradise is now the 3rd largest sports attraction in the Arizona and has one of the longest seasons of Thoroughbred racing in the country. Turf Paradise races show in approximately 2,000 locations throughout 40 different countries.
